A question we often get when customers call in is; "What is your style/"
Well, to answer the popular question that we always get, we are always keeping up with the trend of the flower design industry and have had many looks over the past two decades. Yet I would have to say that the addition of colored burlap ribbon is one of our niches. It is here that we use modern glass cube or cylinder vases and then add a decorative wrapping around the vase which is the colored burlap ribbon. This is by far our most popular style and has led us to sell numerous designs with this look.
Each fresh flower design that leaves our studio is a work of art, made with love and wrapped in beautiful complimenting color burlap ribbon that matches the flower design theme. This makes the design come together. If it's a pink flower arrangement for a birthday then we would use a pink burlap colored ribbon that would be wrapped and attached around the base of the glass vase.
We also have another niche: butterflies. Butterflies are are something we use all the time to make our designs stand our and give a touch of whimsy. Butterflies come in all looks too, like fall monarch butterflies, sparkly holiday butterflies, pastel spring and summer butterflies and the like. We seem to think all flower designs could use a butterfly to make the receiver smile. They add to the flower arrangement and look gorgeous when we photograph the flowers for our website. Customers actually request unique butterflies on a regular basis as they like to collect a new one each time with each purchase.
And lastly we have a third niche: scented sachets. Scented sachets were once used as a purchased add on as a small gift to go along with the flower bouquet. Over time we decided since this is so pretty and yet another way to show how much we appreciate our loyal customers, we now use sachets on a regular basis and include them with all our designs. So like for instance if we use fresh lavender in a flower design then we will add a pretty lavender scented sachet tucked inside as a surprise gift from Joey-Lynn's Flowers.Once again, our customers just really appreciate our going above and beyond to make them smile.
