Fast forwarding to 2019 we seem to be seeing a younger generation ordering more and more flowers for friends and family occasions. With this trend comes the vibe of a more youthful design at play here. We at Joey-Lynn's Flowers a Haddon Township florist seem to be creating more for the new generation of young couples moving into town. With this new movement, a chic contemporary style element is trending in our floral workshop.
It is here that we shine! We have always had a modern flair for design and enjoy so much when a customer calls us to ask for an upscale chic style arrangement. Lots of different flowers can be used for a younger crowd such as orchids, daisies, gladiolas, tulips, sunflowers, iris, and the likes. We also like to incorporate some flower drama in a simple way by using classic style vessels for our containers. A basic white or black cube vase can go a long way to set the tone for a sharp statement. Adding in collections of one color flowers can also do a magic trick when it comes to a powerful statement; such as using all pink flowers in a black cube vase or using all pink flowers off to one side of the vase. Grouping colors in a simple vase can produce an elegant understated style.
So, It comes as no surprise that trends come and go and even though we are an Italian inspired floral design studio that mainly creates designs that are reminiscent of the gardens of Italy, we move with the flow! If the urban community wants chic then we do chic.
