Good day to you,
A common question that I get very often is "What types of flowers do you use when designing your flower arrangements?"
Well, here at Joey-Lynn's Flowers; a Haddon Township, Haddonfield and Cherry Hill N.J florist, I have a few very special types of lush blossoms that I try to source for special occasions when I need to design a beautiful bouquet for a client.
The first of the staples are Hydrangeas, as these make a gorgeous base to begin the creation. The second is Ivy for greenery. I just love the flow of trailing greens even in a tall arrangement. I love to use all sorts of mixed greens as well, as this is what gives a statement piece it's flow. I have to say Orchids are my next staple as these beautiful blossoms are show stoppers in any design. Forth would have to be Garden Roses with their perfume like scent. Fifth would then be fragrant Stock with it's long blossoms. Sixth would have to be Dahlia for that is a large base blossom that is gorgeous in a bouquet or in an arrangement in a vase. Seventh would have to be Veronica for it's wispy effect on the flow of the design. The array of variety is endless really for which I would call my staples, but all blossoms are beautiful when gathered with composition and with a color theme.
All of these are my favorite flowers to create a stunning flower design. However some are hard to source at different times of the seasons. If I can source only a few of these beauties I'll gladly use them first.
Kindly give us a call for all your flower needs. We are always eager to help you send them happiness!
I hope this answers a question you may have had.
Best wishes and all good things-
Joey-Lynn (Flower Shop Owner of Joey-Lynn's Flowers)
